Celebrating the people of the place we call home.
A weekly podcast, live events, and social storytelling about the inspiring people of New Hampshire and Maine. Hosted by Troy Farkas, formerly of ESPN and Spotify.
Meet Troy Farkas
Hosted by former ESPN and Spotify producer Troy Farkas, Seacoast Stories is a weekly interview show and community platform celebrating the people, businesses, and local voices shaping New Hampshire and Maine.
After producing more than 2,000 episodes for ESPN, The Ringer, and Spotify, Troy moved to the Seacoast in 2023 and found something he had not expected: a community that welcomed him, learned his name, and made him feel at home.
The show is his way of giving that feeling back — a producer's craft and a newcomer's appreciation, spotlighting the founders, artists, neighbors, and local characters who make this place so special.
Everyone Here Has a Story Worth Telling
The Seacoast welcomed Troy when he was new here. Seacoast Stories is how he gives that welcome back.
Every week, Troy sits down with the people who make New Hampshire and Maine's Seacoast what it is: founders, makers, creatives, restaurant owners, and the quiet pillars of local community.
It started as a podcast, but it has grown into regular live events, the Seacoast Stories Dinner Club, and everyday storytelling across the region — all in service of one idea: the best communities are built by knowing each other's stories and showing up for each other in real life.
From Portsmouth and Dover to Kittery, York, and Ogunquit, the show covers the whole Seacoast, one conversation at a time.
