I spent weeks preparing for the Victoria Arlen interview.

I listened to a number of her other podcast appearances. I watched several of her “Dancing With The Stars” performances. I scrolled her social media feeds. I read her new book and left sticky notes on the passages that stuck out to me. I ventured down YouTube rabbit holes, consuming pieces from local and national media about the “miracle” girl from Exeter, N.H.

I wanted to know everything so that when it came time to sit down together, I’d be ready.
